About Mosaics:
Mosaics is a newly developed worker’s rights resource created by and for culturally and racially marginalised women. The project was initiated in response to the lack of accessible workplace rights information for newly arrived workers.
The resource was co-designed with community members, drawing on their lived experience & cultural knowledge. It includes a handout and three short video clips that explain key workplace rights. It provides clear, essential legal information to help newly arrived workers navigate the Australian workplace.
The handout is available in six languages: English, Spanish, Farsi, Swahili, Simplified Chinese, and Dinka.
Mosaics was developed using a trauma-informed and culturally safe approach, centering the voices of those most impacted. The project was made possible through the generous contributions of community members and partner organisations who shared their insights during the co-design process.
